A mall on the border of Berwyn will soon have a new coffee destination.

The rumors have been confirmed by 7 Brew that a new location is coming to the North Riverside Park Mall, 7501 W Cermak Road. This follows the coffee company’s momentum of building new locations around Chicagoland, with recent expansions into Waukegan and St. Charles. An opening date has not yet been announced.

Who Brew is the franchise company responsible for other new coffee shops opening across the state, including in Grayslake, Tinley Park, Lake Zurich, Bloomingdale and Crystal Lake. When contacted, representatives from Who Brew were not available for comment.

“Riverside and Berwyn are neighboring suburbs just west of Chicago, sitting along the Burlington Northern Santa Fe rail corridor. Both communities have a strong coffee culture and a loyal base of drive-thru coffee fans who have long been waiting for a 7 Brew to land nearby. The two towns share borders, making it likely that a single well-placed location could serve both communities — or that 7 Brew is planning one location per market to maximize drive-thru throughput,” says a recent article on 7 Brew’s website.

Fans of 7 Brew know what to expect with the menu, which includes hot and cold brew coffees, energy drinks, fizz drinks which have sparkling water infused in flavors and topped with cream, teas, lemonades and shakes. Their originals include the Blondie with vanilla and caramel breve, and Sweet & Salty with salted caramel and white chocolate breve. The full menu is available on their website.

The North Riverside Park Mall is near the intersection of Harlem Avenue. Other nearby coffee shops include Gloria Jean’s Coffees inside the mall, Espresso Cafe and The Local Flour Stand Cafe in downtown Berwyn. The timeline for construction of the new coffee spot is still being evaluated.
