Gilligan Co. is planning a new GoCo Shell convenience store with a Dunkin’ at the intersection of Madison Road and Red Bank Expressway in Cincinnati’s Madisonville neighborhood, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.
The new development will replace the existing Rally’s and Qwench property at the busy intersection, creating a new convenience store and food-service destination near the Oakley-Madisonville area.
Gilligan Co. acquired the property for approximately $3.5 million and plans to redevelop the site with a GoCo Shell convenience store and Dunkin’ restaurant. The existing buildings are expected to be demolished as part of the redevelopment.
The project is located at the intersection of Madison Road and Red Bank Expressway, Cincinnati, OH 45227, near the southeast corner of the intersection. City records have identified the broader site as part of the ongoing redevelopment around the Medpace campus in Madisonville.
The upcoming GoCo will add another convenience-store option to the area, while the Dunkin’ will provide a new quick-service restaurant at the redeveloped property. Gilligan Co. is an established operator of convenience stores and Dunkin’ locations in the Cincinnati market.
An exact opening date for the new GoCo Shell and Dunkin’ has not been announced.
