A cool, sophisticated brunch experience is coming to the city’s fastest-growing corridor. According to public filings, Brunch Factory plans to open at 3655 S. Preston Road, within the Celina West development.
Brunch Factory will offer an upscale brunch experience, with alcohol and tableside bottle service designed to bring a club-like atmosphere to breakfast.
What Now Dallas reached out to Toni Mehmedi, the owner behind the project and a Celina restaurateur with a decade of community roots. He said the opening is targeted for spring 2027, pending permits.
Mehmedi has operated Celina Star Cafe, a neighborhood breakfast staple, for the past ten years. For him, the new concept represents a deliberate evolution.
“Celina Star Cafe is more of a mom and pop, the building’s older, it’s more of like breakfast comfort food. With Brunch Factory I’m aiming to create a different more modern experience, cooler things. I want people to take pictures of the stuff when it comes to them,” Mehmedi told What Now Dallas.
The goal is to give Celina and Prosper “a nice, classy breakfast experience” with unique options.
The Celina West development, anchored by a new Costco, was a key factor in the location decision. Mehmedi said he sees the development happening across the area as an opportunity to bring something new to Celina.
For Mehmedi, that momentum is part of what makes the city so exciting. “I love this small town that’s growing.” And growing it is. Celina has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, drawing a wave of national brands and new residents.
Mehmedi is betting that the community is ready for a more elevated dining experience to match its growth. “I’m just excited to bring a whole new twist to the Celina area,” he said.
