One of the DFW’s busiest chefs is cooking up something new for Dallas. Julian Barsotti, the mind and apron behind Nonna, Fachini, and Sprezza, is spear-heading a fresh concept called Los Charros, set to open later this spring, reports Culture Map Dallas.

The restaurant will be bringing Tex-Mex cuisine to the Graduate Dallas hotel, located at 6101 Hillcrest Avenue. The Graduate is the latest incarnation of the building, which previously housed Hotel Lumen. Los Charros will be a big part of the space’s next era, taking over where The Front Room Tavern-Lumen’s in-house restaurant-left off.

Renovations are currently under way. A precise opening date is not yet available, however Los Charros should be ready to feed hungry Dallas diners sometime this May.

While Barsotti has proven particularly prolific in Italian cooking, Los Charros will not be his first venture into the world of Tex-Mex. The celebrated chef also opened Odelay, a Dallas restaurant that specializes in the aforementioned cuisine.
