Malibu Jack’s, an all-indoor “family fun park” with locations in Kentucky and Indiana, has filed permits to bring an entertainment center to North Richland Hills.

If the planned outpost, at 8651 Airport Freeway, is anything like the brand’s existing four locations, residents of NRH will soon be able to enjoy go-karts, laser tag, mini golf, arcade games, tasty eats, and so much more, according to its website.

The 137,000 square-foot venue could cost $4,000,000 to build out, according to plans filed for the project which could open to the public in mid-2025.

Malibu Jack’s is one of several brands under the Five Star Parks & Attractions company, a “platform at the forefront of the amusement and hospitality industry that partners with and invests in leading family entertainment centers (FECs),” the Five Star website notes.

“We are more than just a rating,” the company writes on its website. “We assist in developing and maintaining safe and friendly amusement park locations that celebrate fun and personify the joy of play. We provide essential financial backing that aids property partners in developing superior entertainment experiences and lasting success. Five Star Parks & Attractions showcases an unparalleled collection of FEC brands, creating unforgettable moments at each location.”

Five Star currently operates in 27 locations in 13 states across eleven different brands including Malibu Jack’s.

Representatives for Malibu Jack’s were not immediately available to comment on the plans.
