The DFW has recently been enjoying a French-by-way-of-New York invasion. The cozy coffee concept, Maman, has been laying down some serious roots in Dallas and has yet another storefront on the horizon. Work is set to commence soon on the cafe’s East Village home, as is reflected in construction filings.

Dallas residents will be able to stop in for a cup of coffee and a pastry at 2752 North Haskell Avenue, Building D. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that Maman will be moving into a renovated 2,382 square foot storefront.

Locals won’t have to wait much longer to see the signs of progress on Maman’s next area home; work is set to commence on May 1 and should wrap by November 17. These are, of course, estimated dates, and while they do not guarantee an opening timeline, they do serve as a positive sign that the cafe will be customer-ready before the end of the year.

Maman was founded in Soho in 2014. The brand has enjoyed great success, expanding to include more than 50 locations. The menu truly has something for everyone, ranging from soups and salads, to sandwiches, to sweet treats.
