A “virtual kitchen” is opening inside a Fort Worth Walmart.

One Kitchen offers delivery service of up to 25 different brands and menus, prepared by three to four chefs. The chefs of One-Kitchen Fort Worth will have additional helping hands; the franchisee, Richtech Robotics, plans to launch the restaurant with one of their drink-making robots.

It was announced in October that the service robotics company signed a letter of intent to become a franchisee of Ghost Kitchen Brands, setting them on a path to open 20 Walmart-based restaurants in Texas, Arizona and Colorado.

While the exact robot model assigned to this One Kitchen – Fort Worth location has not yet been determined, we do know the restaurant will begin by offering 15 freshly prepared brand menus to choose from. This location will offer delivery and dine-in opportunities.

Customers can place an order using most locally available food delivery apps, like DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grub Hub. The team has begun the permitting process and has targeted the Fort Worth opening for the end of January 2025.
