Wingstop, one of the country’s most recognizable chicken wing chains, is coming to Oakland Boulevard in Fort Worth. According to public filings, the brand plans to open at 2526 Oakland Blvd.
What Now Dallas reached out to franchisee Steve Milam to inquire about the opening timeline, but did not receive a response prior to publication. Permitting records list a construction completion date of March 2027, although dates listed in public filings are not always definitive.
Wingstop was founded in Garland, Texas, in 1994 and has grown to more than 3,000 locations worldwide. The brand built its following around a focused menu of bone-in and boneless wings, tenders, and chicken sandwiches, served with a lineup of bold flavors.
The new restaurant will join the Oakland Boulevard corridor in east Fort Worth, adding another Wingstop to the brand’s growing local footprint.
Wingstop has continued adding locations across Fort Worth. What Now Dallas reported on ARS Brands opening its 19th DFW-area Wingstop at 9116 Camp Bowie West Blvd., part of a broader push by the multi-unit franchisee that also operates Dunkin’ locations across the region.
This outlet also covered a wave of Wingstop relocations across Tarrant County, including moves in Fort Worth and Arlington aimed at improving customer parking, along with a new restaurant on East Seminary Drive.
