After years of delays and shifting plans, the long-vacant All Inn Motel on East Colfax Avenue is finally undergoing a major transformation. The former 54-room motel will be reborn as the All Inn Hotel with a restaurant, lobby bar, and outdoor pool, according to Denverite.
Inspire Investment Group, who purchased the property in 2016 and is leading the redevelopment, originally intended to convert the motel into micro-apartments, but shifted plans after support from the city for lodging with dining. The hotel’s restaurant and bar will be overseen by Steven Waters, owner of Run for the Roses and Take Care Brands Hospitality.
Waters told What Now Denver, “We currently aren’t far enough along to share/release any of the details,” but said more information will be announced at a later date.
Initial plans were submitted to the city in 2019, and they were modified. The business’s Instagram announced in December that the demolition part of the project was completed and new construction could begin.
A $22 million project, the hotel is expected to open in late 2025. It will feature 54 rooms with nightly rates projected at just over $200. The property spans 28,941 square feet of lodging, 3,242 square feet of restaurant space, and 860 square feet of retail.
