Panda Express will be one of the many new additions coming to the city of Firestone, according to the town’s website. While an address has not yet been assigned, the business is working on plans at a site located on the north side of Firestone Boulevard, just east of Arbor Street.
The company has submitted plans to build a new 2,700-square-foot drive-thru restaurant with seating for 52 guests. The restaurant is expected to break ground in late fall 2025.
It is part of the growing Firestone City Centre North, a 33-acre retail development located at the I-25 and Hwy 119 interchange. The center is anchored by Home Depot and American Furniture Warehouse and includes tenants such as Comfort Dental, Brakes Plus, and Anytime Fitness, brochures from The Staenberg Group show.
This marks yet another expansion in the area for the popular fast-casual chain, which celebrated an opening in Parker earlier this month, 9 News reports. The company’s history dates back to 1983 in Pasadena, California, and it has since grown into a multi-billion-dollar empire with more than 2,500 U.S. units in operation.
