Popular chicken finger fast-food chain Raising Cane’s is preparing for a significant renovation at its 2108 S. College Ave location in Fort Collins. Construction bidding documents show the business has plans for a seven-figure project to enhance the property.

Work is scheduled to begin on the 3,530-square-foot space in May and be completed by September, but it is unclear if the eatery will close during renovations. The remodel includes new dining room furniture, lighting, kitchen equipment, and restroom fixtures, a drive-thru door, improved plumbing and electrical, and added canopies.

This is not the first time the location has undergone renovation efforts. The Coloradoan reported in 2021 that a dual-drive-thru lane was added after a number of vehicle collisions took place there.

Raising Cane’s was started nearly 30 years ago and has grown to operate 900-plus locations. Forbes shared that the chain experienced $5.1 billion in revenue last year and saw more than 100 stores open, landing on QSR Magazine’s 2024 QSR 50 report.
