Buns & Patties to Open Late-Night Fast-Casual Spot in Berkley

Berkley is welcoming Buns & Patties on May 15, 2026, at Coolidge Hwy. The fast-casual restaurant will operate from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., with extended hours until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The 1,400-square-foot space will seat just over 25 guests. The interior includes banquette seating, an open kitchen, and a custom mural by Detroit artist Jesse Kassel. Matthew Lisk of FOV Studio designed the space, and CIR Group built it. Buns & Patties will offer online ordering, a pickup window, and parking behind the building.
“We’ve been talking about opening a place like this for years,” says co-owner Mark Isakov. “Now it’s real. We’ve built a spot that people will want to come back to, especially late at night.”
Satisfying Menu Featuring Favorite Classics

The menu is designed to be simple and satisfying, offering straightforward choices for guests. It features the BNP Smash Burger made with two beef patties, American cheese, pickles, onions, and house sauce on a potato bun. Other items include crispy and spicy chicken sandwiches, a short rib grilled cheese with tomato soup, and an all-day breakfast sandwich.
It also offers a falafel burger for vegetarian customers. Sides include fries, sweet potato fries, loaded short rib fries, and chicken tenders. Dessert options include custard sundaes like Hot Fudge Classic, Biscoff Crunch, Dubai Chocolate, and customizable sundaes. Drinks include canned sodas, Mexican Coke, coffee, and Arnold Palmers.
“We wanted a menu you don’t have to overthink,” says co-owner David Pinkhasov. “It’s the food that people actually want—burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, sundaes—done right and ready whenever you need it.”
