Fresh brews will be prepared at a West Bloomfield shopping plaza soon.
The Seven Sundays Coffee owners recently signed a lease for a third location at 6925 Orchard Lake Road, per a post from Gerdom Realty. This brings an independent coffee shop to West Bloomfield, one of only a few others in the area. Co-owner Chris Touma told What Now Detroit the tentative opening timeline is spring 2027.
Seven Days Coffee first debuted in 2023 in Royal Oak on Main Street. Chris and his wife Krystal Touma, who founded the company, then expanded last October to Troy near Somerset Collection mall. Chis said they have been planning the West Bloomfield location for about eight months.
“Born from the idea that every day should feel like a Sunday morning—unhurried, intentional, and fulfilling—we’ve built a brand that redefines what your daily coffee ritual can be,” says the description on their website.
Menus are very similar at both open shops, with viral drinks like the salted brown butter draft latte. Breakfast items like an egg and cheese english muffin and egg bites are also served, along with baked goods and pastries.
The plaza is on the east side of Orchard Lake Road, and also at the building are New York Bagel, Stage Deli Restaurant and a Dairy Queen. Gameday Social Bar, which What Now Detroit previously covered, is another concept that is planned for the plaza sometime this year. This is near the intersection of W Maple Road.
