Following the opening of their Canton location, the owners have big plans for another suburb.
Game Day Social is a new sports bar and tavern under construction at 6919 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield. The new spot is bringing an option for pub-style food, beer, wine and seltzers to the community. Owner Brandon Bahoura said he does not yet have an opening date set, but will sometime next month.
The team is quickly building this brand as they recently opened the flagship location at 50296 Cherry Hill Road in Canton. The spot was formerly Marachino’s Pub, and opened with many screens to enjoy the big game. It is described on their website as a “refined sports bar experience.”
“Game Day Social isn’t just another sports bar — it’s a destination where craft hospitality meets the energy of game day. From hand-shaken cocktails to a chef-driven kitchen, every detail is designed for the people who take their food, their drinks, and their teams seriously,” says the description on their website.
The chef crafted menu has options ranging from appetizers to full plates. Their entrees right now include grilled salmon and fish & chips, while handheld options are burgers, crispy chicken sandwiches and the fish sandwich. For lighter bites while enjoying the game, nachos, a bavarian pretzel and spinach artichoke dip are on the menu.
Game Day Social is coming to the east side of Orchard Lake Road in The Boardwalk shopping plaza. It joins a Dairy Queen, New York Bagel, Stage Deli Restaurant and Nothing Bundt Cakes. This is on the south end of West Bloomfield.
As it gets closer to the opening, the Game Day Social team will be releasing more updates about the opening date online.
