A gym just outside of Lansing is heading to a new building.
Breakthrough Fitness is moving down the street for the new location at 620 N Clinton Street in Grand Ledge. This will feature many of the same weights, as well as a sauna, red light therapy and compression therapy. Owner Troy Stevens told What Now Detroit he is hoping to open his new gym around Aug. 23, and possible expansion is planned for the future.
The current gym opened in 2015 at 227 S Bridge Street downtown. The new location allows for a larger space, featuring many machines like a plate-loaded overhead press, abductor machine and plate-loaded seated row. A fuel station is also being installed with energy drinks and protein options.
“This isn’t just a new building—it’s the next evolution of Breakthrough Fitness,” says the post from Troy Stevens.
Stevens’ new gym is coming to the east side of N Clinton Street, at the corner of Union Street. This is across from Lyle’s Party Store, as well as Aaron’s Plumbing. Downtown Grand Ledge is just south of the address.
Along with the new location, their Lansing gym will still be open at 1125 Mak Tech Drive, Suite D. More updates on Breakthrough Fitness and the official opening can be found on their website.
