Wah Coffee Kitchen will open its new location at 6560 Greatwood Parkway, Suite 100, Sugar Land. The Greatwood cafe marks the brand’s first storefront in Sugar Land, following its success in Montrose and Richmond.
The Sugar Land opening marks another milestone in the company’s expansion. The opening introduces the café to one of the Houston metro’s fastest-growing communities. The owners said, “The Houston community kept on asking for Sugar Land, and no better place to open than the amazing community of Greatwood”.
Wah Coffee Kitchen started with a simple goal to bring people together through hospitality, comforting beverages, and meaningful connections. As the coffee shop gained popularity, it became a hub for community, offering a space for people to relax, socialize, and savor handcrafted brews in a cozy atmosphere.
In addition to specialty coffee, Wah Coffee Kitchen offers an all-day menu featuring drinks and food options. The brand uses locally sourced ingredients and prepares its menu fresh each day.
The team describes the cafe as a place where strangers become friends and every drink is prepared with precision. The name “Wah” reflects that philosophy as well, drawing from an expression commonly used to convey surprise and delight.
“We are in the business of southern hospitality, community and comfort, and that is what Wah is. You’ll see Texas murals as soon as you walk in,” added the owners.

What’s on the Menu
Wah Coffee Kitchen’s menu includes specialty coffee beverages alongside an all-day food menu. The Sugar Land location will serve the brand’s existing menu items.
The menu features tiramisu and banana lattes alongside matcha, chai, and refreshers. The kitchen offers a selection of breakfast, lunch, and comfort-food favorites. The daily menu features pastries, and other items include burgers, crispy Chicken Sando, Korean fried wings, avocado toast, and fresh waffles.
The brand’s full kitchen, along with its creative coffee and drink menu, sets it apart from the typical coffee house. On the opening day, visitors can get all drinks free from 10 am to 12 pm.
