The Pho Fix traces its roots to owner Danny Pham’s childhood, where cooking Vietnamese food was part of daily family life. Pham was raised by generations of family members who taught him recipes, cooking methods, and traditions, where food was a way to connect people.

In 2005, Pham moved to Houston to create a career focused on his culinary roots. In 2021, The Pho Fix opened its doors in Houston’s Underground Food Hall and later moved to The Stomping Grounds in Garden Oaks.

The restaurant earned a reputation for slow-simmered broths, family-inspired menus, and personalized Vietnamese specialties. There was also a selection of signature dishes such as pho prepared from high-quality meats, Bun Bo Hue, vermicelli noodle bowls, and banh mi sandwiches.

The Pho Fix served what it claimed was a true taste of Vietnamese heritage through its menu and inviting ambiance. The restaurant provided a space for the growing pho lovers in Houston.
