Joe Auto Shop is a new auto repair concept set to hit the streets of the Spring Branch East neighborhood this fall. According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, Joe Auto Shop is expected to open at 7818 Hammerly Boulevard.

The standalone commercial property is located at the intersection of Wirt Road and Hammerly Boulevard in the Spring Branch neighborhood. The property functions primarily as an automotive facility and is currently home to businesses such as Mechanic Master and Xpress Auto Motors.

The permit details that the construction project for the new Joe Auto Shop started in July and is slated to be completed by the end of October this year. If all goes well with permitting and the estimated $450,000 construction project, the 2,275-square-foot Joe Auto Shop should open by this fall.

At the helm of the opening is Dr. Salima Cumber, who was listed on the permit. What Now Houston reached out to Cumber to find out more about the upcoming opening. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

At this time, it does not appear that Joe Auto Shop has an online presence, but the brand name is indeed a very common name. But with no known website and/or social media presence, it’s hard to tell what exactly the new auto shop will offer and what services it will provide the community.

But we’re sure that as we inch closer to opening, more will be revealed. So, keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for the latest.

Joe Auto Shop is anticipated to open in the Spring Branch East neighborhood at 7818 Hammerly Boulevard by this fall.
