According to recent reporting in JDR, Raising Cane’s keeps raising its ambitions for the area.
Reportedly, city utility JEA is reviewing “an adjusted service availability determination request for a 2,786-square-foot, 75-seat Raising Cane’s on 1.34 acres of the former Regency Square Mall property at 9501 Arlington Expressway.”
Raising Cane’s streamlined menu features combos like the Box Combo (4 Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, One Cane’s Sauce, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, Regular Fountain Drink); the Sandwich Combo, which features three chicken fingers on a toasted bun; and the Caniac Combo, which comes with 6 chicken fingers and an extra Cane’s Sauce.
“Our certified ‘Bird Specialists’ hand batter premium chicken that’s marinated for 24 hours, then cooked to order for fingers that are hot and tender down to the last bite,” says the Raising Cane’s website. “Every meal is cooked to order, because when it comes to fresh, delicious food, we never compromise (and neither should you).”
One thing folks forget about Raising Cane’s is the brand’s tea, which comes sweet or unsweet, and its lemonade, both of which are even available by the jug.
