Jacksonville is getting a new spot for diners who take their barbecue – and their beef – seriously.
Wagyu Factory BBQ is coming to 4880 Big Island Drive, Suite 06, where the Chubby Group concept is preparing to open its first Jacksonville location. The company currently lists the restaurant as ‘coming soon’ on its official website.
Wagyu Factory is built around a combination of barbecue and hotpot, with Wagyu beef at the center of the experience. The company says its goal is to combine traditional hotpot with modern barbecue while offering a dining experience geared toward groups, families and friends.
At its existing Wagyu Factory BBQ locations, the menu centers on all-you-can-eat dining, with different cuts of Wagyu and other meats served alongside vegetables, appetizers and sides. The brand’s existing locations feature Japanese A5 Wagyu, Australian M9 Wagyu and American Wagyu from Masami Ranch.
The Jacksonville restaurant is part of a broader expansion for Wagyu Factory, which currently lists locations and upcoming projects across the country. Its website categorizes the Jacksonville restaurant specifically as Wagyu Factory BBQ.
The brand also falls under Chubby Group, a hospitality company with a growing portfolio of Asian-inspired dining concepts. Wagyu Factory’s own website describes the concept as having a contemporary Korean-inspired design with industrial touches, while blending Eastern cooking traditions with Western dining habits.
The Jacksonville location has its own Florida business entity, Wagyu Factory Jacksonville LLC, which was incorporated in March 2026 and lists the Big Island Drive address.
