Almi’s Kitchen is a new concept set to hit the Las Vegas Valley sometime this year. According to a Clark County permit, Almi’s Kitchen is expected to open in Spring Valley inside the Arville Plaza at 4970 Arville St, Suite 104.
What Now Las Vegas attempted to reach out to business owner Yared Derbaw, who was listed on the permit. Unfortunately, we did not hear back from Derbaw by the time of this publication.
Almi’s Kitchen will open in the space that formerly housed Champagne Kitchen and Lounge. The historic Las Vegas cocktail and karaoke spot formally closed its doors on Feb. 23 this year. The iconic 1966 Las Vegas dive bar was forced to close due to a combination of the COVID-19 pandemic and brutal, prolonged road construction on Maryland Parkway.
“Sadly, Champagne’s is closing its doors Monday, February 23 at 8 am,” Champagne’s Cafe said in a post on its Instagram page.
“It’s going to be a legendary weekend, so don’t miss it. KJ Marc will host Vegas’ best karaoke Friday thru Sunday from 10 pm-2 am. Thanks for making Champagne’s Cafe legendary, and see you this weekend.”
Construction on the new Almi’s Kitchen should be underway and completed this year. We suspect the new restaurant will open later this year. Almi’s Kitchen LLC is listed as an upcoming restaurant business registered to open in Las Vegas, Nevada. The business has filed its location listing, but specific operational details like an official menu, phone number, and hours of operation have not yet been fully publicized.
With no website or social media pages, it’s hard to tell what exactly Almi’s Kitchen will offer. But we’re sure more details will come to light as we inch closer towards opening. So keep your eyes open, and your ears perked for the latest on this exciting new addition to Las Vegas’ culinary scene.
Almi’s Kitchen is anticipated to open in Spring Valley inside the Arville Plaza at 4970 Arville St, Suite 104, later this year.
