Bojangles is coming to the LINQ in Vegas fashion! According to LV Petroleum, the franchisee behind the opening, the beloved Cajun-season fried chicken eatery is planning to open its first restaurant with a full bar and entertainment on the Las Vegas Strip at 3535 S Las Vegas Blvd.

“Perfect location to open our first Bojangles with a Full bar and entertainment,” Jeanette L. Davis, Senior Vice President of Food and Franchise Brand at LV Petroleum, told What Now Las Vegas in an interview.

“This isn’t just Bojangles. This is Bojangles like you’ve never experienced it before. 🐔 COME FOR THE CHICKEN. STAY FOR THE PARTY.”

And that party is slated to come to the Las Vegas Strip before the end of this year.

“The feeling of the South out West, with a Nashville bar theme in Vegas,” Davis said.

“Same menu as all Vegas Bojangles, except we are featuring some really cool bar drinks with “Viva Las Vegas” collectible drinkware.”

LV Petroleum is currently working on developing a total of 20 Bojangles locations in the Las Vegas Valley.

What Now also reached out to Bojangles’ Chief Development Officer, Jim Cannon, to find out more details about expansion plans. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

“Bojangles is a Carolina-born restaurant chain specializing in craveable Southern chicken, biscuits and tea made fresh daily from real recipes, and with a friendly smile,” the Bojangles website reads.

“Our guests are at the forefront of everything we do. In addition to serving up flavorful food, we’re committed to doing good in the communities we serve. Fans from all over know Bojangles for our catchy tagline – ‘It’s Bo Time!’”

Bojangles was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 6, 1977, by veteran restaurant operators Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas.  The founders named the restaurant after hearing the famous song “Mr. Bojangles” on the radio, which was originally written by Jerry Jeff Walker in 1968 and made famous by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

There are now more than 850 Bojangles locations operating across the United States, with at least five in Nevada, all in the Las Vegas Valley.

Bojangles offers Southern-style fast food with a focus on bold Cajun fried chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits, and traditional sides.

“Bojangles is a high-energy Southern QSR brand that combines legendary biscuits, flavorful chicken, Southern hospitality, and a loyal customer following,” Davis said.

The new Vegas-style Bojangles is set to open on the Las Vegas Strip at the LINQ at 3535 S Las Vegas Blvd before the end of this year.
