Conceived in 1985, when founder and CEO Charley Shin tasted his first Philly cheesesteak, and then born in 1986 as Charley’s Steakery, Charleys Cheesesteaks has grown into a veritable “Cheesesteak Empire.” It now encompasses more than 700 locations in the 46 states and 17 countries.

“Now, Charleys Cheesesteaks is serving our favorite cheesesteaks, fries, and real-fruit lemonades at every Charleys,” says the Charleys website. “Select locations also serve classic and boneless wings, fried appetizers, and frozen shakes.”

As Vegas franchisee LV Petroleum builds out Charleys locations in the Las Vegas market, the brand’s next stop is 5715 Decatur Blvd, at the intersection with West Russell Road, according to licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by the LVP Food Service Concept LLC. The location is already searchable on Google Maps.

“Every Charleys cheesesteak is grilled to order using quality meats, fresh melted cheese, and hand-cut veggies, all seasoned to perfection and piled on our signature toasted roll,” says the brand’s website.

And steak isn’t the only protein on offer. The brand’s handhelds range from the classic Steak Philly Cheesesteak to the Bacon 3 Cheesesteak, to sandwiches like the Chicken Buffalo and the Chicken Philly.
