With food trucks located at 1115 N Nellis Blvd, 1825 S Decatur Blvd, and 5893 W Tropicana Ave, Taqueria la Casa del Pastor has already made its mark on Las Vegas. And now the brand is taking things to the next level with its first permanent brick-and-mortar restaurant.
What Now reached out to co-owner Richar Gonzalez on Thursday after coming across licensing paperwork submitted by Gonzalez Brothers LLC to the City of Las Vegas for a restaurant at 6121 W Lake Mead Blvd.
Gonzalez confirmed the news: “We have the food trucks, yes, but this is a restaurant.”
When is it opening? Gonzalez that’s still not certain.
And what about the menu? What Now asked. Will it be the same as the food trucks?
“Yes, it will be the same menu.”
That means more tacos served up with proteins like Al Pastor, Pollo, Carne Asada, and Cabeza; other popular dishes include tacos rancheros, asada quesadillas, a Chorizo Torta, and lots more.
The location in question is part of the retail center on the southwest corner of West Lake Mead Blvd and North Jones Boulevard. It’s home to restaurants like KFC, El Pollo Loco, and Yourway Breakfast + Lunch.
