Coletta’s Set to Close After Three Decades of Service
Coletta’s announced it will permanently close its Appling Road restaurant. The menu features Italian classics such as pizza, pasta, and other traditional dishes. It is well known for its signature BBQ pizza, ravioli, and lasagna.
The restaurant team shared the news of its closure in an Instagram post. The team cited rising costs, industry challenges, and increased competition as reasons for the closure.

The catering services and private events will remain operational at Coletta’s Appling Road location after the closure as well.
The team thanked the community for its support and encouraged customers to visit before the restaurant closes on July 3.
Original Location Remains Open
The original Coletta’s South Parkway location will remain open. “Although our restaurant doors on Appling Road are closing, this is not the end of Coletta’s. Our South Parkway location remains open,” said the team.
The Appling Road location was founded in 1998, after the tragic loss of Coletta’s Summer Avenue location in a fire in 1996. The Summer Avenue location was established in 1956 and successfully served the community for 40 years before the fire.
The closure marks the end of the Appling Road restaurant’s three-decade run, while the original South Parkway location remains open.
