A Chick-fil-A in Germantown is undergoing renovations to improve traffic flow, employee safety, and customer convenience.

The location at 1230 S Germantown Rd temporarily closed on the evening of March 15, 2025, for upgrades made possible by a development plan approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. These plans have been in the works for nearly a year and a half.

According to a Facebook update from the City of Germantown, the renovations include re-routed drive-thru aisles to reduce congestion on nearby roads, extended detached canopies for better employee coverage, a realigned Greenway pedestrian entrance, and adjustments to seating and parking to comply with city zoning requirements.

The restaurant is expected to reopen in mid-April. Once complete, customers can look forward to a more streamlined and convenient Chick-fil-A experience.

“We appreciate your patience and we look forward to serving you in April!” wrote owner/operator Anthony House in a social media update.
