A Starkville hospitality MVP is getting ready to launch his next venture. Eric Hallberg, the driving force behind departed but beloved favorites like Cappe’s Steakhouse and The Breakfast Club, is bringing a new concept called Hallberg’s to the neighborhood, with plans to open later this year, reports The Dispatch.

Hallberg’s will be opening at 105 Eckford Lane-one of the very few bits of information presently available about the upcoming restaurant. Hallberg’s filed as a limited liability company with the Mississippi Secretary of State as of August 27 of this year, an indicator of forward momentum.

Hallberg is developing the vision for his newest project. He says: “We are very vague, … trying to get a plan.” Despite the absence of specifics, Starkville foodies should be able to discover all the restaurant will offer before the year is over The Dispatch article states that Hallberg is projecting that the concept could be open as soon as November-though that would be at the earliest.
