Collierville’s Belly Acres announced its permanent closure. The chain will shut down its South Houston Levee Road location on April 30. In a social media post, the restaurant shared the heartbreaking news of its closure. The Silo Square location in Southaven will remain open.
Belly Acres to Close Collierville Location
Popular farm-to-table burger joint Belly Acres is preparing to close its Collierville store. The eatery announced the closure on Facebook and said, “After a great deal of thought and evaluation, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Collierville location.”
In the post, the restaurant team shared, “We’ll be closing our doors for good April 30th, 2026, @ 9 pm, and we’d love to see you in before we close.”
“We are incredibly thankful for the support from the Collierville community, our loyal guests, and our team who gave their all every day,” added the team.
According to a Hoodline report, the Collierville location opened in May 2025. “The Collierville outpost opened in May 2025 in the Houston Levee shopping area and will close in less than a year,” stated the report.
While the Collierville location is bidding farewell, Belly Acres will continue to operate and serve delicious burgers at its Silo Square outpost. The team mentioned, “We encourage you to visit the restaurant for the same great experience.”
The restaurant is well-known for its grass-fed beef burgers and hand-breaded chicken tenders. The menu also includes large salads prepared with fresh vegetables, along with other vegetarian options. It offers 10 milkshake flavors and ice cream sandwiches made with its signature chocolate chip cookies.
Low Revenue Forces Store Shutdown
According to the official closure announcement, the restaurant cited financial issues as the reason for closure.
The restaurant explained, “While we’ve put a lot into this store, it has not reached the level of sales needed to remain sustainable long-term. This decision is strictly based on the performance of this location.”
Following the announcement on social media, several fans of the burger joint expressed their disappointment in the comments. One of the fans wrote, “We loved the food and service—especially the kids eat free deal. Sad to see y’all leave.”
As Belly Acres winds down its operations at Collierville, it extends an invitation to the community to visit for one last meal.
