May is bringing exciting news for Memphis barbecue fans. Bain Barbecue has moved up the opening of its Germantown location, and it will be ready for customers later this month, reports Memphis Business Journal.

Under the leadership of partners Heather and Bryant Bain and Ryan Glosson, Bain will be opening its second location at 2016 S Germantown Road. The converted Arby’s will have seating for up to 58 guests inside, while a patio that is currently under construction will be able to accommodate another 40 visitors.

New staff members are being trained at Bain’s original 993 Cooper Street location.

The Bain’s team is anticipating hungry crowds-and plan to be ready to feed them. Glosson states: “Right now, we are expecting to have double the food in Germantown that we have in Midtown. We don’t want the complaint that we ran out of food.”

The beloved barbecue establishment originally planned to open in July. The Germantown restaurant will now be greeting customers on May 19, news that is certain to inspire delight-and hunger-in area residents.
