A new Topgolf-inspired pickleball facility is being planned for Southaven’s 16-acre Top of the Sipp mixed-use development, complete with a restaurant and two bars. Helmed by SMJ Enterprise, this project aims to enhance Southaven’s recreational offerings.

The facility would be named Bangers Pickleball and would feature nearly 22,000 square feet of pickleball courts, with four indoors and six outdoors. An upstairs patio would overlook the courts, showcasing space for company outings and special events.

Additionally, Bangers would house a restaurant and two bars, with one of them being outside. More details about these establishments are forthcoming.

Situated on the west side of Snowden Lane, Top of the Sipp will introduce approximately 211,000 square feet of offices, retail spaces, and entertainment venues to Southaven’s expanding Snowden District. Two tenants for the first retail building have recently been announced, one of which is Olive Branch-based Abikkadabi’s Baking Co.

“Top of the Sipp chose the ideal location for their development,” Southaven Mayor Darren Musselwhite told The Daily Memphian. “Bringing pickleball, the hottest game on the planet right now, and their other recreational-style occupancies are perfect for our Snowden District.”

Pending city approval, Bangers Pickleball aims to open by fall 2025, with Rickey Hall set to be the owner. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
