The nationwide chain that serves up everything from waffles and other breakfast favorites to hamburgers and Texas melts, is bringing another location to 9043 Winchester Road in Memphis, according to an application for a commercial new construction permit filed with the city.
There are over 100 Waffle House locations in Tennessee alone, and over 2,000 across 25 states.
O.B. Bacon, senior Vice President at Waffle House, declined to comment to What Now Memphis on the pending construction of the site. He previously worked as the area vice president for the company, managing locations in the Memphis and North Mississippi area.
According to Google Earth Pro, the new Waffle House will be situated on a plot of land between residential neighborhoods and Harvest Church.
Waffle House was established in 1955 in Georgia, and is known for being open 24/7 and its comfort food like waffles, grits, and hash browns.
