A Memphis storefront is poised to get a new owner and name while maintaining its general purpose. A concept called The Quick Stop has filed papers to begin selling tires and doing automotive services in a Memphis storefront according to recently filed paperwork.

The Quick Stop has a certificate of occupancy under review with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development as of August 21 for 918 S Parkway E. The submitted form shows that not much change is intended for the space, with the project description detailed as “Certificate of Occupancy for existing tire sales and service with light automotive repair at 918 S Parkway E. New tenant/ business; no change to existing building footprint”.

It is not yet clear when, precisely, The Quick Stop will be open and operational. The certificate of occupancy remains listed as “under review” presently. What Now Memphis has reached out to ownership for further details and will update readers as information emerges.
