Wynwood’s coffee scene is about to get a celebrity boost with the planned opening of 27 Club Coffee, a coffee brand affiliated with Machine Gun Kelly. The company has announced plans to open a Wynwood location this summer on Instagram. According to Instagram account, OurSouthFlorida, the coffee shop signed a 10-year lease for a 2,778 square-foot space at 51 NW 23rd Street.
27 Club Coffee was founded in Cleveland, Ohio and combines specialty coffee with a lifestyle-focused approach inspired by music, art and creativity. Its product lineup includes whole-bean coffee, ready-to-drink beverages and branded merchandise. The name is derived from the legendary “club” of musicians Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix, who all died at the age of 27.
To build anticipation for the debut, 27 Club Coffee is offering a limited-edition commemorative T-shirt celebrating the upcoming Miami opening. The merchandise is currently available for purchase through the company’s online store.
The new café is expected to attract both coffee enthusiasts and fans of the musician, bringing a unique blend of coffee culture and entertainment to Wynwood.
