Hialeah Gardens will soon see a Cuban and Venezuelan café and bakery. What Now reached out to co-owner Miraldy Silva for details about the new concept.

We can expect to find the unit at 13750 NW 107th Ave, where it will near other businesses like: Elegant Temptations Cakes, Hazel Photography and Gemini Supply & Services. This will be the first location for the brand.

Silva shared that they are in the permitting phase of pre-opening. Within the next couple of weeks, Silva anticipates receiving approval to begin construction, with a goal of opening in August.

Craig’s Café and Bakery will serve a range of dining options: empanadas, wraps, salads and more. Along with the food, they will offer coffees and teas. Silva emphasized that this will be a place for people to come, “sit down, connect your computer and enjoy a café.”

A plan review filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation was initiated on May 26 and is still “in process.”
