Fresh Kitchen, the build-your-own-bowl concept, celebrated the grand opening of their Weston location on Tuesday, April 8, marking its 16th restaurant in Florida. The new addition at 1382 Weston Rd. introduces Fresh Kitchen’s chef-inspired, high-quality, customizable bowls to the Weston area and reinforces the brand’s mission to bring clean, made-from-scratch meals to more communities.
Fresh Kitchen’s chef-inspired menu is crafted from scratch, made fresh to order, and entirely gluten-free. Guests simply “point” and the team helps them build their perfect bowl starting with bases like seasonal rices and nutrient-rich greens, including Coconut Ginger Rice, Sweet Potato Noodles, or Kale Slaw, and topped with hand-cut, roasted vegetables such as Basil Mushrooms, Maple Sweet Potatoes, and Lemon-Garlic Broccoli. Hormone and antibiotic-free proteins, including Grilled Citrus Chicken, Herb Grilled Steak, and Sustainably Sourced Roasted Salmon, pair perfectly with house-made sauces such as Coconut Sriracha or Herb Balsamic Vinaigrette. All items are cooked with 100% olive oil.
In addition to long-time favorites, guests can now enjoy new menu items available at all locations, including two fresh base options: the Arugula + Spinach Salad, featuring shredded carrots, basil oil, and a squeeze of lemon, and the Lemon Herb Cauli Rice, a low-carb, herbaceous blend of roasted riced cauliflower, fresh lemon juice, toasted almonds, and herbs. For a wholesome, energizing grab-n-go snack, Fresh Kitchen now offers Harvest Bars made with pecans, walnuts, gluten-free oats, dates, and maple syrup – a recipe passed down by none other than Fresh Kitchen founder’s mother.
The Weston location, like all Fresh Kitchen restaurants, offers dine-in seating and online ordering for pickup or delivery. Additionally, Fresh Kitchen provides catering options for parties, meetings, events, busy families on the go, and meal prep. The robust catering menu includes both individual bowl packages and shareable options.
Fresh Kitchen is committed to making a meaningful impact beyond the bowl – supporting local causes, donating food, and prioritizing sustainability. All locations feature a composting program that diverts nearly half of all waste from landfills, along with reusable bowls for team members, and eco-conscious design choices. Through mindful sourcing and ongoing education, the brand aims to nourish both people and the planet.
Since launching in Tampa in 2014, Fresh Kitchen has expanded thoughtfully across Florida – from the Greater Tampa/Sarasota area to Central and South Florida – with a growing number of thriving south Florida locations, including Miami, Boca Raton, and Davie. The Weston opening marks another step in Fresh Kitchen’s mission to reimagine fast-casual dining with a distinctive quick-service experience that makes fresh, flavorful, healthy food accessible to local communities.
The Weston restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:35 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9:05 p.m.
