With four locations currently operating here in South Florida, local cookie brand Sweet Lich’s is looking to keep expanding. The brand’s next outpost will be in South Miami, at 6104 S Dixie Highway.
“Sweet Lich’s (pronounced “Sweet Licks”) is a small family owned business founded by Erik “The Baker” and his wife Steph “The Boss,” reads the About Us page on the Sweet Lich’s website. “We offer a variety of cookie flavors, pies, vegan options as well as other sweet treats. Our menu is constantly evolving and we always have a special flavor of the month!”
Founded in the hard year of 2020, Sweet Lich’s found itself well-positioned to get its start, even in difficult times.
“It actually went great because no one was eating out,” owner Erik told What Now on Monday. This allowed Sweet Lich’s to get off to a strong start with delivery and takeout orders for its sweet treats. “I feel like the product speaks for itself. Everything is baked to order, so it’s always fresh.”
Erik says the brand isn’t done expanding either. He says Sweet Lich’s has an eye to opening an outpost in Coconut Grove next, although no location has been secured on that front yet.
“The plan is to keep growing,” Erik said.
