Carlitos Mexican Grill and Cantina at 1132 Murfreesboro Pike is undergoing an ownership change, according to a permit filed with Metro this week.
Castulo Vasquez is the new owner of the location. What Now Nashville connected with Vasquez over the phone.
He said he expects to have the restaurant open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with potential for extended hours to 12 a.m. depending on business.
The restaurant will feature a bar, offering beverages like margaritas and beer. The menu features Mexican and Tex-Mex food such as burritos, enchiladas, chimichangas, a variety of steaks and seafood like grouper, snapper and tilapia.
Other restaurants in the area include Agape Kitchen Bar and Grill and Margherita Pizza & Pasta & More.
