Assembly Food Hall announced that a new eatery, Radish, will open within the hall in March 2025. Radish, a fast-casual healthy food restaurant, will be located in the South Hall behind Pharmacy Burger and adjacent to Prince’s Hot Chicken.
This will be Radish’s fourth location in the Nashville area. The menu includes grain bowls, wraps, and salads featuring proteins like chicken, salmon, and local steak and vegetarian selections including baked falafel, sweet potatoes, and lentils. Customers can choose from the eatery’s carefully crafted housemade dishes or can create custom bowls featuring an extensive array of fresh ingredients. Radish also works to accommodate various food allergies and restrictions for diners as well.
Cookbook author Amanda Frederickson founded Radish in 2020 alongside her husband and partner Luke Smiley. Together, they have overseen its growth into a fresh-food staple in Middle Tennessee. After moving to Nashville in 2018 to be closer to family in the Southeast, Amanda and Luke saw an opportunity to bring fast, healthy food to the area. Initially being told numerous times that salads and grain bowls wouldn’t connect with the southern palate, Frederickson perfected her favorite recipes and now offers food as delicious as it is fresh throughout the city. Plans for expansion across the Southeast are on the immediate horizon for the brand, with hopes that Radish will one day be a household name.
