Franchisees Kirti and Ankit Patel are teeing up a new Teriyaki Madness location. Kirti shared in an interview with What Now Nashville that he recently signed a lease for a Clarksville location.
Kirti already owns a Teriyaki Madness location in Hendersonville, a venture he launched about six years ago. He has another location slated to open at the White House Shops in White House in mid-March, as previously reported by What Now Nashville.
“People love the teriyaki-style chicken and freshly made teriyaki bowls,” Kirti said. “This is a concept that Nashville needed.”
The Clarksville location will be 1,500 square feet. Kirti expects to open that location in about six months.
The fast-casual chain, founded in Las Vegas in 2003, has more than 150 locations across the country. It serves made-to-order teriyaki bowls. Kirti said he believes the fact that orders are customizable and freshly made sets the chain apart from others.
“Every year, sales are going great. People love the food,” Kirti said. “It’s a fast-casual restaurant and the bowls are flavorful.”
Customers can expect to see more growth from the Patels in the future. There will likely be more locations to come in the Nashville area, and they are looking at the possibility of opening a spot in Kentucky, Kirti said.
“I took my time. I took almost four years to open my second location,” Kirti said. “Year by year, numbers are great. People are loving it in the Nashville area.”
