Twisted Taco University Chain Coming to Tulane Residence Halls

The Atlanta-based chain is focused on expanding to campuses nationwide.

The highly successful Twisted Taco chain is an Atlanta-based restaurant focused on expanding across college campuses, from Georgia Tech to North Dakota State University. According to permit filings with the City of New Orleans, renovations are underway to bring Twisted Taco to Tulane University at 86 McAlister Dr. Permit documents also indicated that the restaurant will be under the operation of Aramark Collegiate Hospitality. What Now New Orleans has reached out for comment.

The Twisted Taco menu includes all of your favorite Tex-Mex classics, including tacos, fajitas, and burritos. The chain promotes a family-friendly atmosphere, and while some locations offer alcohol, the Tulane location will not. Both table service and counter service will be available, according to permit documents. The company proudly says it supports three charities: the Atlanta Humane Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation and ASPCA.
