A new dining establishment is set to open at 54 Great Jones Street where Jolene Restaurant currently operates. Paradise Hospitality’s Eric Kruvant and Darin Rubell, operating under NoHo Neighbors, LLC, have recently filed paperwork for this yet-to-be-named restaurant.

The planned restaurant aims to be a family-friendly American eatery, emphasizing locally sourced products from New York State purveyors. The venue is described as offering a warm and convivial environment. Its layout includes two small rooms, each catering to different dining experiences. The front room is designed for walk-in diners, while the back room, described as more refined, will offer a space for longer dining experiences with privacy and will accept reservations.

The menu, highlighting classic American cuisine, proposes appetizers such as Bay Scallops for $15, Chicken Liver Toast at $12, and Whole Artichoke also priced at $12. For entrees, options include Chicken Parmesan for $22 and the Great Jones Cafe Burger for $18, a homage to the longstanding Great Jones Cafe that preceded Jolene Restaurant. Side dishes are set to feature items like Burnt Broccoli with pistachio and lime for $8, and Fries, also at $8.

This new venture represents a blend of casual and refined dining, aiming to cater to a broad range of patrons in the NoHo neighborhood. Further details about the restaurant’s opening date and official name are yet to be announced.
