Signage Visible for One of Several Upcoming Hashi Market Locations

Hashi Market is set to open its newest New York City location while it plans two more.

The popular Japanese grocery store Hashi Market is preparing to open an Upper East Side location at 1801 2nd Ave., at E 93rd Street, and signage for the upcoming store is now visible. The new location is one of three currently being planned for Manhattan, and it will occupy a 3700-square-foot space on the ground floor. The Upper East Side location was projected to open in 2026, and now that opening appears imminent. What Now New York has reached out for more information.

The company has been expanding across the city in recent years and currently has several locations in New York, including locations in Tribeca and Union Square. It is currently planning locations for Chelsea and the Financial District. The popular Japanese market is known for selling a range of products, from Japanese groceries to sushi to beauty products and kitchenware.
