Mango’s Mexican and American Grill to End 16-Year Run
The longstanding Mexican restaurant, Mango’s Mexican and American Grill, is a local favorite spot. “After many unforgettable memories, Mango’s will be closing our doors. Our last day of service will be May 25th,” the team said.
In the Facebook post, the restaurant team also extended a token of gratitude and wrote, “We want to sincerely thank all of our loyal customers, friends, and family for the love and support. From family dinners to celebrations and familiar faces, every memory shared with us has meant so much.”
Although the restaurant is closing, its team assured its fans that “this isn’t goodbye—it’s new beginnings.” The restaurant did not share any specific reason for closing.
About the Restaurant
Founded in 2012, Mango’s aimed to bring traditional flavors to the local community. The restaurant became known locally for its made-from-scratch dishes and mix of Mexican and American offerings. The space is a go-to gathering place in the neighborhood.
According to the WZFG The Flag report, a major setback for the restaurant came in 2024. “The restaurant has been serving the Fargo-Moorhead area since 2012. The last location was on Main Avenue in Fargo, where a fire happened in July 2024. No injuries were reported,” stated the report.
Mango’s reopened in 2025 at the former Boulder Top House building in Moorhead, Minnesota.
“While this chapter is coming to an end, we are excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of the Mango’s family and for all the support you’ve given us,” continued the restaurant staff in the post.
As the final day approaches, Mango’s Mexican and American Grill’s team hopes to serve the community until May 25.
