Carl’s Jr. is introducing a new cooked-to-order burger process. The systemwide initiative launches with the Angus Maximus. The limited-time burger features two charbroiled Angus beef patties and is available at participating locations for $5.99.

Carl’s Jr. Adopts New Cooked-to-Order Burger Process

According to PR Newswire, the fast-food chain is launching its “Burger Revolution.” The initiative calls for burgers to be cooked after customers place their orders. The chain says the process is designed to serve burgers hotter and fresher.

Carl’s Jr. burgers will no longer rely on traditional holding systems under this process. Instead, the patties begin cooking after an order is placed and are served after being cooked on the charbroiler.

The Angus Maximus is the first limited-time offering under the new cooked-to-order system. Carl’s Jr. describes it as its first “hero LTO” tied to the Burger Revolution.

Angus Maximus Features Two Angus Beef Patties

The latest offering features two charbroiled, 100% Angus beef patties, which are seasoned with the chain’s signature seasoning blend. These patties are finished with melted American cheese, dill pickles, sliced onions, and special sauce.

The burger is served on a buttery toasted brioche bun and contains 5.7 ounces of beef. In addition, it amounts to $1.05 per ounce of 100% Angus beef.

Angus Maximus is available for $5.99 at participating Carl’s Jr. locations for a limited time. It is scheduled to remain on the menu through October 27.

The chain is also using the initiative for its My Rewards loyalty program. As per the press release, new My Rewards members can receive a free Angus Maximus with any purchase when they sign up.
