Oreo is launching a new limited-edition flavor this summer. The release ties into the U.S. as it approaches its 250th anniversary.
Oreo Drops Triple-Flavor Summer Cookie
On May 4, 2026, Oreo is releasing its newest limited-edition Firecracker Pop-flavor cookie nationwide. Taking inspiration from the red, white, and blue colors of the flag, the brand is taking a patriotic turn with this release.
The milestone adds momentum to this year’s Fourth of July celebrations. Oreo partnered with Popsicle on the new flavor. The cookie draws on the classic red, white, and blue Firecracker Popsicle.
According to the snack page CandyHunting, the triple-stuffed cookie features three flavors: blue raspberry creme, lemon-flavored white creme, and cherry-flavored red creme. The cremes are layered between two golden cookies for a combined bite.

According to a May 2, 2026, NBCDFW report, “Oreo describes the cookie as a ‘multi-layered taste experience’ in every bite. But it’s clear that people are going to try and eat these like you do a real Firecracker pop — one layer at a time.”
Oreo Continues Its Experimental Flavor Streak
The Firecracker Pop-flavored cookie reflects the brand’s continued experimentation with new flavors. Aside from the new flavor, Oreo is also celebrating Mother’s Day with special order boxes. Priced at $19.99 and $39.99, the boxes are available through OREOiD.
Other recent collaborations of the brand include Swedish Fish Oreos, Sour Patch Kids Oreo, Reese’s Oreo Cup, and Oreo Reese’s Cookie. The new limited-edition cookies are available on DoorDash, CVS, and other stores.
The limited-edition Firecracker Pop Oreo arrives ahead of the summer holiday season. It gives fans a festive way to enjoy the classic treat that is set to stand out this season.
