Bagel Street Cafe appears to be growing its Bay Area footprint with another East Bay restaurant. An application for the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) suggests that the cafe is seeking a license for 46700 Fremont Boulevard in Fremont.
Founded in the Bay Area, Bagel Street Cafe has grown into a regional chain with locations spanning Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Marin, San Joaquin, and Placer counties. In addition to serving customers through its cafés, the company operates a production facility in Fremont that supplies frozen raw and fresh bagel dough to bagel shops and bakeries throughout Northern California.
Its menu features freshly baked bagels, breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, salads, wraps, coffee, and espresso drinks. The company notes that each of its cafés is independently owned and operated.
According to the company’s website, Bagel Street Cafe has served the Bay Area for more than 15 years, focusing on fresh, high-quality ingredients. The company says it strives to provide customers with “the best available, natural ingredients,” noting that each café bakes bagels fresh throughout the day and prepares its bagel rolls from scratch.
The brand also emphasizes its commitment to freshness behind the scenes. According to the website, sandwich ingredients are prepared daily, with meats and cheeses sliced fresh, vegetables washed each morning, and cream cheeses made from “the freshest ingredients.” The company says its goal is to provide customers with “the freshest possible products” and welcomes feedback on how it can continue improving its offerings and service.
The company has not yet publicly announced the Fremont location or shared an anticipated opening date.
