Cheba Hut, known for its unique cannabis-themed toasted sub sandwiches, is expanding its presence in SoCal, with a new location set to open in Ontario. This new shop is located at 1900 E Inland Empire Blvd STE A, according to the company’s website.

Tyrone Myles, a Vanguard University graduate with 27 years of experience in the medical industry, is the franchisee for the location. This will be his second Cheba Hut. He told What Now OC the lease is signed, permits have been approved, and construction is projected to be completed by mid-August.

The location will be situated in a busy area with 900 luxury apartments by Palmer Group, several car dealerships, and QVC. There will be dedicated parking for customers and a spacious patio for enjoying their signature sandwiches and cocktails.

Cheba Hut has a menu of over 30 signature sub sandwiches and salads. It was founded by Scott Jennings in 1998, and has grown to over 50 locations across 15 states. The concept is celebrated for its counter-culture vibe.

“We combine homegrown recipes with a chill, eclectic environment where real food is served by genuine people,” Myles explained.
