A significant transformation is set to take place in Brawley, construction records show. Stine Enterprises, LLC, spearheaded by Steve Stine, prepares to demolish and rebuild the Jack in the Box at 315 W. Main Street.
According to construction documents, the project includes a full demolition of the existing structure, followed by a complete rebuild, with all new construction and finishes.
The $1.65 million project, for which work is scheduled to start on February 17, aims to construct a completely new 2,003-square-foot restaurant in place of the current property that occupies the lot. It will feature an occupancy limit of 45, with 24 seats, 14 for queuing spots, and six persons in back-of-house operations.
Stine, the franchisee behind the project, has been a long-time operator of Jack in the Box franchises, first acquiring a location in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1982, the company’s website says. Over the years, Stine and his partner, Adam Stine, have expanded their portfolio with the brand, as well as invested in Denny’s and Hawaiian Bros.
Residents won’t be without access to the QSR chain; Jack in the Box’s website shows that the location is one of two in the city. The other, also on Main St., is about 2.5 miles to the east.
