Muldoon’s Irish Pub has united classic Irish cuisine with modern pub fair since 1974. Located at 202 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach, owner Andrew Gabriel told What Now Orange County the plans are not finalized but the hope is to update the 3,000-square-foot upstairs area into a private event space.

Though he is unable to comment on finalized plans at the time, the space will potentially house a bar and dining area.

The original pub I built entirely of oak, brick and brass. This space combines with the Tavern Dining Room and Celtic Bar to form a circle around the open-air patio that the restaurant says is perfect for lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch, or listening to live music and watching sports — all al fresco.

The pub’s menu features weekend brunch options, happy hour and late-night shots, and a wide selection of hearty meals like pub nachos, corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, and fresh seafood entrees. Learn more at muldoonspub.com
