A new Burlington store is set to open its doors in Southern California, with a new location planned for Hunter Court Shopping Center in Lake Forest this fall. The retailer will open at 24372 Rockfield Boulevard this fall, marking its 135th California store and continuing the company’s nationwide growth strategy.
The upcoming store will feature Burlington’s updated layout, part of a broader initiative to modernize its shopping experience, which includes wider aisles, improved organization, and enhanced signage designed to help customers browse more efficiently while discovering new merchandise that arrives daily. Burlington plans to open 110 net new stores across the country in 2026, all featuring the refreshed format.
Shoppers can expect the retailer’s signature assortment of discounted brand-name merchandise, including women’s and men’s apparel, children’s clothing, footwear, beauty products, baby essentials, home décor, pet supplies, and seasonal items.
According to Burlington Stores, the expansion also brings new employment opportunities, and the company is encouraging prospective team members to apply for available positions as it prepares to staff the Lake Forest location.
Headquartered in New Jersey, Burlington Stores is one of the nation’s leading off-price retailers. The company generated $11.5 billion in net sales during fiscal 2025. As of the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2026, Burlington operated 1,242 stores across 47 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
